basecentre frequency of the all-pass chain's rest position, 200 hz to 4 khz log. not a fundamental - nothing here is tuned to a pitch; it is where the six cells' break frequencies sit when the signal is not pushing them.

sprdhow far the six cells' rest frequencies are spread either side of base - zero stacks them all on base, full spreads them over three octaves.

cplehow the cells bend each other - bipolar. centre = no coupling (a static dispersive comb). above centre each cell's level pushes the next cell's notches up toward the energy (the classic bloom); below centre the coupling inverts and the notches flee downward, carving away from whatever plays.

sttlsmoothing time on the inter-cell modulation, from a 200 hz one-pole down to about 1 hz. fast is twitchy and cross-modulated; slow is multi-second breathing. nothing here decays - it is a lag, not an envelope.

rgenfeedback around the all-pass chain. turns the broad, gentle notches into sharp resonant peaks; near the top the chain rings on its own cell frequencies.

mixdry / wet. at 100% you hear the all-pass chain alone; its phase interference with the dry is deepest around 50%.

self-coupled all-pass cells

A network of filters coupled back into itself until it rings like struck metal, at tuned overtones stacked above a chosen fundamental.

Each overtone hangs in the air and slowly decays, from a light formant colouring at low settings to sustained bell-like drones when you let it ring.

The coupling control is bipolar. Above centre the resonances follow the energy in your playing and bloom with it; below centre they move away from whatever you play, carving around it.

It runs the same DSP as the module in Tangle; nothing is cut down for the standalone version. One licence covers both: this plugin, and the same module unlocked inside the rack.
