About Weaver Audio

Weaver Audio is an independent audio-software company. We build our own instruments and effects, sell them direct, and answer our own support — a question about the code reaches the people who wrote it, not an outsourced help desk.

What gets made here

Tangle is a modular effects rack that lives inside your DAW: modules you patch together with cables, the way you would on a real rack. Every audio module in it is also sold on its own, as a single plugin with the same modulation built in — so you can buy one module for one job, or the whole rack.

It is sold direct, from this website. There are no resellers, no bundle aggregators and no iLok. Payment is handled by Stripe, so card details go to them and never touch our servers; what comes back to us is the sale record described in the privacy policy.

If Weaver Audio stops trading

A fair question to ask any independent company, and the answer is written into the licence terms rather than left to goodwill:

Your licence is perpetual. It does not expire and it is not a subscription. The version you were supplied keeps working, on the machines your licence allows.

It does not need us to be online. The plugin confirms your licence when you activate it and re-confirms roughly every three months. In between it works with no internet connection at all.

If the licence server is ever retired, a release that does not need it gets published first. That is a commitment in the terms, not an intention — a licence you paid for will not stop working because we changed or shut down our infrastructure.

Discontinuing a product does not switch it off. If we stop selling or supporting something, the licences already issued for it keep working. A licence is revoked in exactly two cases: a breach of the terms, or a purchase that was refunded or charged back.

after you buy30 days to change your mind, no questions asked, refunded to the card you paid with.
supportOne inbox, answered by the person who wrote the code. Tell us your OS, your DAW and what you are seeing, and you will get a real answer rather than a ticket number.
releasesPoint releases are free inside a major version, and your account page always carries the current installer.
your projectsControls are never removed and their ids are never reused, so every control you set keeps its value when a session reopens on a newer build.
what we collectLess than you would expect, and the update check carries no serial, no email and no account id. The privacy policy spells out every case.
