depthsets where the notch comb sits, sliding every notch up the spectrum by two notch spacings across its travel. despite the label it is a position; the sweep around it is set by motion.

sprdnotch spacing. fully down packs 256 notches across the band; fully up leaves two.

tiltbends the axis the comb is drawn along. at centre the notches are evenly spaced in hertz, like a flanger; above centre they move toward even spacing per octave and crowd the bass; below centre they crowd the treble. off centre the sweep chirps. it does not tilt the eq.

motionsweep depth around the depth position, up to 3 notch spacings either way. with shape at rise or fall it scales the scroll speed instead.

ratesweep speed, 0.05 hz to 20 hz, when sync is fully down at free. it also sets how fast woggle wanders and how fast rise and fall scroll.

synclocks the sweep to the clock. fully down is free, with rate setting the speed; the other positions give one sweep cycle per whole note, half note, quarter note, eighth note or sixteenth note.

shapepicks the sweep shape: sine, triangle, square, sample-and-hold, woggle, rise or fall. woggle drives the sweep from a chaos source that never repeats, and the two channels wander apart. rise and fall scroll the comb one way without end. rate sets the speed in every shape.

regencomb feedback, bipolar around centre. centre is a plain comb; above centre the passbands sharpen into resonant peaks; below it the notches narrow to slits with flat shoulders between them.

stagescomb resolution. fully up, every frequency gets its own gain; turn it down and the comb snaps to a staircase of as few as six steps, so whole bands pulse as the sweep passes through them.

drivesaturation after the comb, which drives the peaks regen raises into distortion. fully down is clean.

mixdry/wet balance. fully down is dry only; fully up is the effect alone. the wet runs about 43 ms behind the dry, so part-way settings sound doubled.

Eleven controls, no menus. Here they are on the panel itself.

dispersionstages sets how many all-pass poles stack up to 16, and sprd fans their spacing from a tight pile-up to a broad sweep.

motionmotion sweeps the notch cluster; rate and sync set the speed, shape the waveform.

resonanceregen feeds the chain back on itself and drive saturates that loop for singing, near self-oscillating tones.

voicingdepth places the notch cluster, tilt steers the brightness, mix blends dry against the notched sum.

Flanger Turnout 2 ships with the full CV/logic modulation section every Tangle standalone carries. Two slots, each running one of six modulators: pick one from a slot's tabs, drag a patch cable onto any knob, and that control moves on its own, no DAW automation required. Both slots can run the same kind, each its own copy, and slot 2 can be switched off.
