The signal is split at a tunable crossover point and each half gets its own saturation: clean lows under crunchy highs, or the reverse as you sweep the split.

BAL crossfades the two halves, with a slight dip at centre since they are two halves of one signal. PUSH adds a brassy brightness that comes from how hard you play rather than from a drive knob, and FLARE sets where that brightness begins.

TRACK ties the crossover to the note you're playing. The split sits on the fundamental wherever you are on the neck, so the low band is always the note and the high band always its harmonics.

It runs the same DSP as the module in Tangle; nothing is cut down for the standalone version. One licence covers both: this plugin, and the same module unlocked inside the rack.
